Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 and authorized to accept these terms to use BoardDeckAI. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and remain responsible for activity under your account. Contact support@boarddeckai.com if access is compromised.

BoardDeckAI provides a service for structuring operational metrics, financial reports, and strategic updates into board-ready presentations. You provide the inputs. The system structures them. You review and approve before presenting.

The standard service is not designed for regulated health or financial records and does not include a private deployment or specialized compliance agreement.

Do not violate law or third-party rights; upload material you lack permission to use; impersonate someone; circumvent payment, limits or access controls; transmit malicious code; or disrupt or place disproportionate load on the service.

Do not use the service to misrepresent the state of a business to a board of directors. Review materials before presentation.

You retain ownership of material you submit and are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for us to process it. Keep your own source copies; the service is not a substitute for a backup archive.

Retention and privacy requests are described in our Privacy Policy.

You retain ownership of your submitted material. BoardDeckAI retains rights to its platform and underlying technology.

You grant BoardDeckAI a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, store, transmit, display, and use your submitted material as necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the service. This does not transfer ownership of your material.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular output quality, or the absence of errors.

Outputs are structured drafts for your review. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of any presentation delivered to your board of directors. Review materials before presentation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BoardDeckAI and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, data or business interruption.

Aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid to BoardDeckAI in the 12 months preceding the event or $100 USD. Nothing excludes liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify BoardDeckAI against claims, losses and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use, submitted material that violates another party's rights, or your violation of these terms.

Before filing a claim, contact support@boarddeckai.com and allow at least 30 days for informal resolution. Subject to applicable law, unresolved disputes are resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis; class or representative proceedings are not permitted.

Where arbitration is unenforceable, claims will be heard in courts in Delaware under Delaware law, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, security incidents, abuse or legal and operational risk. You may request account closure through support. Termination does not eliminate accrued payment obligations or records that must legally be retained.

Deletion requests are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms, with notice of material changes where required. The effective date and version identify the current text. Continued use after an effective update is subject to the updated terms, to the extent permitted by law.
